PowerPoint Night has been a favorite event of regulars and first timers at Katarina Ölkafé in Stockholm since 2018.

We hold the event a couple times a year and it’s always a great time.

PowerPoint Night is kind of like open mic, but instead of music or comedy, you have five minutes to give a short presentation on any topic you like.

A short Q&A follows each presentation if attendees crave more knowledge.

Over the years, we’ve learned about topics ranging from historic fires and the bacteria in Stockholm's lakes to the world's biggest holes and deodorant; from trap music and random travel coincidences to highway typography and tracking animals in the desert by recognizing their poop.

The topics presented are certainly varied. They have talked about everything from Arctic adventurers to eating habits during the Bronze Age.

All presentation formats are welcome including Apple Keynote, Google Slides, PDF, and PowerPoint.

Katarina is a small craft beer bar and seating is first come first served. Come early, stay late. The first presentation starts at 7:00 pm.
